Zeus was Emily's Cat. He was a maine-coone cross from the NH SPCA. She got him when she finished first grade. He was a 1 1/2 years old then. Zeus had a real personality. He ate Emily's other pets - (The Mad Mouse Massacre) He liked to walk on the roof of the house and he liked to jump into people's cars. He guarded the yard walking the perimeter twice a day. Zeus was very social. He loved to greet guests. He would put out his paw and remind guest that he liked to be petted. Bit by bit he went from being a strong muscular cat to fur and bones. Even on his last day he was very loving. Saturday night he curled up in a cat ball behind the wood stove in thebasement and went to sleep. We were glad to have Zeus in out life.
